Don’t be alarmed if you see a stylish little monster wearing some fabulous lingerie in the streets of Manhattan this winter. In fact, feel free to pick her up – literally – if you do spot one.

JPD Studio has teamed up with lingerie company Bare Necessities to launch the Bare Necessities Mini Monster Giveaway campaign, which will release ten four-inch tall collectible handmade monsters into the wilds of New York City streets this week.

Those who find one of the mini monsters will get to keep their tastefully-clad lingerie-wearing new friend and will receive a $25 gift certificate to BareNecessities.com by claiming her at FindaMonster.com. There, monster finders will learn more about their mini monster, including her name and bio, as well as information about the artist.

“I jumped at the idea to work with JPD’s new FindaMonster project because everything they do is creative and well-executed,” says Yana Lyubovitsky of Bare Necessities. “FindaMonster combines all of the right elements of a great marketing campaign; it’s fun, viral, has online and off-line components and these adorable monsters will last forever, reminding the finder to shop at BareNecessities.com.”

“It was so funny when I saw it,” said Victor, the first person to find and claim a monster when three were released in Herald Square earlier this week. “I was like ‘Um, should I take it?’ This is definitely a cute, creative project and I wish luck to everyone else looking for them.”

FindaMonster.com is a creative guerrilla marketing initiative by JPD to bring awareness to brands via mini monsters placed throughout NYC.
